We were fortunate enough to get to go camping with a couple of families this past weekend.
The girls were excited and we had the best weather ever. It did get a little cold at night, but we snuggled up in our sleeping bags and survived.
On Saturday, we all walked down to the lake and did some hiking / exploring, but the best time was the family shooting competition with the BB gun. Even Hadley and Zoey Belle gave the gun a shot.
I (Eric) won a photography contest at Yorkfest this year. Hadley helped me by holding a branch out of the way while I took the photo, so I figured she deserved some of the reward too.
I let her pick out any place she wanted to eat and so the whole fam went out for Runza.
Zoey Belle was supposed to sing and dance to this song, but instead just ended up making weird faces and shaking around:
Zoey Belle has been asking to play my skateboard game every day. While it’s fairly complicated, she manages to land some tricks and crash into stuff.
Lindsey had a 31 Party tonight, so we just spend some time hanging out. Before she left she read the girls their favorite book “Everyone Poops”. They laugh hysterically through the entire thing. Thanks to Uncle Dave for getting this for Hadley before she was even born.
After Lindsey left, Hadley got in the shower and I got play a skateboarding video game with Zoey Belle. She mostly loves crashing her guy into walls and cars, but is able to land some tricks once in awhile.
The neighbor kids love snakes and they spend a large part of their day scouring the area for them.
Hadley joined the search and after they found a couple baby snakes, they decided to race them down the slide. After this, Hadley just carried hers around for awhile.
My favorite thing is that Zoey Belle doesn’t know any of the other kids’ names, show she constantly is shouting “Hey, Neighbor Kids!”.
After one day of gymnastics, Zoey Belle is already showing us her moves.
Then she took it to the trees for some climbing with her panda.
