Snow!

With eight inches of snow and more coming, the girls loved getting outside, playing and building a snowman with dad.

Lincoln trip

Took the family to Lincoln today and we enjoyed getting some shopping done and going out to eat at Olive Garden.

Slumber party

The girls decided to sleep on the floor with their sleeping bags tonight.

Zoey Belle passed out cuddling her polar bear, but she had taken the time to get a pillow and blanket for her black angry bird.

Cuddle time

Before bed the girls got their nails painted and then we all cuddled and watch Rescue Rangers.

Missed a month

Holy cow, we missed December, but then again we were so busy I don’t really remember much of it.

We got the chance to drive up to Minnesota for 5 days and have Thanksgiving/Christmas with Lindsey’s family.

The girls had a great time and we had lots of fun.

For Christmas day, we went to Papa and Grandma Eckert’s house and got to see the whole Schmit side of the family. There was plenty of food, games and presents for everyone.

Snow day

We got our first snow of the year, so the girls spent some time outside throwing snowballs and playing on the slides.

Then it was back inside for cups of hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Xmas tree is up

Today we put up a tree and the kids put all the ornaments on. Their favorite one was of me sucking on my foot when I was little.

Thanksgiving

We were fortunate enough to get to go to Barb and Nolan’s house for Thanksgiving.

The weather was amazing with the sun out and temps in the low 60s. The kids played with the cousins all day and had a blast.

Another weekend at Papa’s house

The big craft show was this weekend in Omaha.   While the women went east, the kids, papa and I stayed home.

The morning was spent wrestling and playing hide and seek. Then after lunch, I took the kids to Fremont to watch Puss in Boots. The girls really liked it and laughed a lot.

Afterwards, we ate supper with papa in Arlington and then watched some cartoons.

Hot tub at grandpa’s

We got to spend Friday night and Saturday at grandpa and grandma’s house.

A bonus was that papa fixed the hot tub!
